Prof. Yingbo Ji

Pro.Yingbo Ji, is the dean of the school of Civil Engineering, North China University of Technology. In 2008, she received a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering and Technology from Tianjin University. Her main research areas are building industrialization, green building, intelligent building and building information. She has not only served as the project leader for several national projects, but also prepared three textbooks, “Research on the Industrialization of Buildings”, “A Study on the Unbalanced Quotation of Engineering Changes from the Perspective of Contractors”, “Application and Training of BIM in Engineering Projects”.

Pro.Hui-Mi Hsu

National Dong  Hwa University, Taiwan, China

Prof. Hui-Mi Hsu had received his Ph.D. majoring as Civil Engineering from Memphis State University, USA. After that, he has attained to two different universities as a professor, chairman, or dean. At now, he is at the position of vice president of the National Dong-Hwa University, Taiwan.

In recent years, his research field is in the concrete-related materials which can be classified as sustainable materials. In addition, Geographic Information System is also included in his research work. Due to his research performance of sustainable materials, he has been selected as the chair of Sustainable Development Committee, Chinese Institute of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering.

A.Pro.Jui-Pin Wang

National Central University, Taiwan, China

Prof. JP Wang graduated from National Taiwan University with degrees of B.S. and Master of Science.  Then, he received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 2007 and worked for an engineering consultancy firm in the U.S. for two years before becoming a university faculty in 2010.  The research of Prof. JP Wang mainly focuses on: 1) geotechnical reliability and probability analysis, 2) reinforced soil structures, and 3) earthquake engineering.  Since year 2010, he has published about 50 papers on the prestigious journals such as Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering ASCE and Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering.  Among the papers, one received the Best Paper Award of Geotextiles and Geomembranes 2009.   

Prof. Michael K.H. LEUNG

City University of Hong Kong, China

Solar photocatalysis; Fuel cell; Advanced air-conditioning.

Prof. Michael LEUNG's research areas include solar photocatalysis, fuel cell and advanced air-conditioning. His research emphasizes the development of modified nanostructured materials to perform various functional photoelectrochemical activities. He has also developed photocatalytic fuel cell reactors by integration of photocatalytic and electrochemical systems to achieve simultaneous waste water treatment and generation of free electricity. His research works are impactful and have received international recognition as he is recently listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics in 2018. He is also listed as a Most Cited Scholar in Energy Science and Engineering by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy in collaboration with Elsevier. Prof. LEUNG has received total HK$40M+ research grants as a PI from NSFC, ITF, RGC, ECF, SDF, industrial sponsorships, university internal grants, donations, etc. He has published 140+ journal papers, 80+ conference papers, 15 books/book chapters, and 7 patents.
